To honor Christ this season, we’re giving back to someone who embodies the spirit of generosity to their neighbors. We believe God’s generous gift frees us to give generously in response.
We’ve set a goal to raise up to $10,000 dollars to give as a one-time, no-strings gift to someone in Jefferson County who embodies a generous spirit year-round. Someone who consistently gives their time, money, and energy toward making life better for others.
Someone who’s not concerned about “the spotlight.”
Someone who loves to help others.
Someone who probably puts themselves last, more often than not.
A panel consisting of 5 (five) local community leaders will be reviewing nominations for this gift until December 20th, at which time the recipient will be decided upon. The recipient will be “unveiled” at the tail end of the Christmas In Watertown - Christmas Eve Service, December 24th, 2019, 131 Moore Ave., Watertown, NY.
We’ll celebrate this person by sharing a little about what they do, and what it means to the community. Then we’ll present them with a check. It’s going to be exciting!
Please consider a one time gift to this campaign!
